Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center
Chinese Yoga, also known as Qi (Chi) Gong is one form of yoga that is relaxing and fun. During this class, participants stretch and hold poses to gain strength, stamina, and improve balance. There is no floor work during this class. All moves are done either seated in a chair or standing, making this the perfect class for beginning and intermediate levels of fitness and for those who have difficulty getting up and down off the floor. This class meets every Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 pm at the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center, 100 S 10t Street, St. Joseph, MO 64501, and costs $4 per person to participate. Join Fitness Coordinator, Jena Kieser, every Tuesday from 4:30-5:00 pm to strengthen your core muscles and improve your balance. There is no floor work involved in this class. All exercises are completed from a chair or standing near a chair. Cost is $2 per person with classes meeting at the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center, 100 S 10th Street, St. Joseph, MO.
