Fees
Required permit fee charges are $50 for the first permit, and $25 for each additional required permit; but, shall not exceed $500 in total.
Construction Fire Permits
The following is a list of required construction fire permits. If any of the following conditions exist, an inspection is needed, and an Operational Permit may be required. The conditions are:
- Installation of automatic fire-extinguishing systems
- Installation of compressed gases
- Installation of fire alarm and detection systems
- Installation of fire pumps and related equipment
- Installation of flammable and combustible liquids
- Installation, removal, or abandonment of hazardous materials
- Installation of industrial ovens
- Installation of liquefied petroleum gas
- Installation of a private fire hydrant
- Installation of spraying and dipping equipment
- Installation of standpipe systems
- Installation of tents and canopies
Operational Fire Permits
The following is a list of required operational fire permits. If any of the following conditions exist, an inspection is needed, and an Operational Permit may be required. The conditions are:
- Aerosol products
- Amusement buildings
- Aviation facilities
- Carnivals and fairs
- Battery systems
- Cellulose nitrate film
- Combustible dust-producing operations
- Combustible fibers
- Compressed gases
- Covered mall buildings
