Fees

Required permit fee charges are $50 for the first permit, and $25 for each additional required permit; but, shall not exceed $500 in total.

Construction Fire Permits

The following is a list of required construction fire permits. If any of the following conditions exist, an inspection is needed, and an Operational Permit may be required. The conditions are:

  • Installation of automatic fire-extinguishing systems
  • Installation of compressed gases
  • Installation of fire alarm and detection systems
  • Installation of fire pumps and related equipment
  • Installation of flammable and combustible liquids
  • Installation, removal, or abandonment of hazardous materials
  • Installation of industrial ovens
  • Installation of liquefied petroleum gas
  • Installation of a private fire hydrant
  • Installation of spraying and dipping equipment
  • Installation of standpipe systems
  • Installation of tents and canopies

Operational Fire Permits

The following is a list of required operational fire permits. If any of the following conditions exist, an inspection is needed, and an Operational Permit may be required. The conditions are:
