Prenatal MO-HealthNet Case Management is offered to pregnant females who qualify and Non-MO-HealthNet Case Management is offered to those not on MO-HealthNet but with an identified risk factor. The prenatal nursing case manager will provide supportive services for the client as well as information regarding the pregnancy and post-delivery period. The nurses serve as resource and referral guides for additional services that could be of benefit to the client.
Pregnancy testing is offered, by appointment, at a charge of $5, to all women, Monday through Friday, 8 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Temporary MO-HealthNet is provided to all women that qualify in conjunction with Family Services Division and MO-HealthNet guidelines. Assistance is provided as needed to clients to fill out regular MO-HealthNet applications and fax them to the Family Services Division.
The MO-HealthNet Division is one of six agencies reporting to the Department of Social Services. The purpose of the division is to purchase and monitor health care services for low income and vulnerable citizens of the state of Missouri.
