Pet Pantry Program

Animal Control Spotlights Posted on January 15, 2026

To better serve our community and ensure fair distribution of donated resources, the Pet Pantry Program will be moving to a scheduled monthly drive-up clinic format beginning February 1, 2026.

Pantry Dates:

  • Monday, February 9, from 1-3pm
  • Monday, March 9, from 1-3pm
  • Monday, April 13, from 1-3pm

What to Know:

  • The Pet Pantry provides temporary assistance with donated pet food and supplies for community members experiencing financial hardship.
  • Assistance is donation-based and while supplies last. We cannot guarantee specific brands, types, or flavors.
  • Distribution will take place once per month during a designated time window.
  • Each household may receive assistance one time per month.

Distribution Guidelines:

  • Food will be pre-packaged in advance based on available donations.
  • Participants will receive one portion per pet, with a maximum of three portions per species per household.
  • Food is distributed first come, first served.
  • Basic information (name, contact info, number/species of pets) may be requested to ensure fair access.

This program exists to help keep pets with the families who love them and to reduce pet surrender due to financial hardship. Thank you for your understanding, patience, and support as we implement these changes.

For questions or upcoming clinic dates, please check posted notices or contact the shelter staff directly.
