[ARCHIVED] Golf Course Changes

Fairview Temporary Changes

Starting Tuesday, June 16, the following will be in place:

  • Small entry gate will be opened and people may come through there and/or the front door. If you have a push cart we would like you to go back to using the gate.
  • Hand sanitizer will still be available at the front door and now the south doors to use before you come into the building. We ask that everyone use it before entering whether it’s during check-in or after you are making turn and need to return inside the clubhouse for concessions and restroom facilities.
  • You will need to come in and pay and still maintain social distancing while waiting to pay. Pay at concessions counter still.
  • Pro Shop will reopen to public.
  • A limited amount of ball washers and trash cans will be put out.
  • The water houses will not be in use all summer. All bottled water has been discounted for the summer to $1 a bottle. Still no refills for our cups or personal cups. If you purchased a drink from us and need a refill we will charge you the refill price and then put in new cup.
  • We will allow use of the water fountains as they are on the cleaning list with all other doors, handles, etc… within clubhouse for every 2 hour cleaning.
  • Bottled drinks are now back in the original coolers and we have set a routine to clean the handles every two hours.
  • We will still not use our coolers. You may bring yours in and have us fill it with your beverages and ice. No outside alcohol is allowed in.
  • People may now ride two people per cart. If elderly or health issues and you feel more comfortable in a single cart that will be allowed for now.
  • We will remain cleaning carts after each use so please continue to pull them into the flagged area when done and dispose of your trash.
  • We still need to make tee times to play. If there is an open slot of times available for a walk in here and there then we will allow walk in play. However, do not expect to get on without a tee time. During the season all golfers should know to make a tee time. If there are no tee times available you will be told and will be notified of the next available time. It will be your decision to leave and return when there is an opening or you may go hit balls or putt on the practice green. This will especially be the case as we begin to have leagues return and other events.
  • Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, all carts need to be in by 8:30pm so they can be power-washed and sanitized. All other nights carts need to be in at dark.
  • Concessions will remain the same for another week.
  • Tee times will remain 15 minutes apart for at least one more week as we adjust.
  • The east side patios will still remain open for you to cool down and have a cold drink after your round. There are cigarette receptacles on that side and trash cans. Please use them.
  • You may exit through the front doors if needed to access your lockers, east patios and side gate.
