Animal Control officers provide protection for animals against inhumane treatment and protect the public from diseased and vicious animals through education and complaint investigation. Animal Control officers investigate following complaints:

  • Stray Animals
  • Animal Bites
  • Animal Neglect or Cruelty
  • Wildlife Exposure
  • Sick or Injured Animals
  • Deceased Animals
  • Barking Nuisance
  • Wildlife in a Residence
  • Tethering Violations
  • Livestock at Large
  • Litter Permit Violation
  • Any other complaints regarding violation of Chapter 5 of the City Code of Ordinances
